What happened
On 25 Oct 2026 at 16:00 UTC, Robinhood posted a short teaser: "The stars are aligning. Tomorrow." Crypto watchers read seven tokens in the artwork, $INJ among them, with the line "7 assets, 4 weeks." Injective then confirmed it was spotted. The reveal is due on 26 Oct, and Robinhood has not said yet what these assets will get.
Why it matters
A teaser is not a listing. It can move price on hope before any real news. What gives $INJ more weight here is the work done the same week.
The fundamentals behind it
On 20 Oct, Injective signed an MOU with BDACS, the issuer of KRW1, a stablecoin fully backed 1:1 by the Korean won. KRW1 is set to become the won settlement asset for tokenized real world assets on Injective, so Korean institutions can trade and settle without going through dollar stablecoins. Minting and redemption stay limited to approved institutions, subject to regulatory approval, while Korea aims to finalize its Digital Asset Basic Act by the end of 2026.
Injective also opened its October Community BuyBack, with a reward basket worth up to about $251K. Holders commit $INJ, every committed token is burned when the round closes, and participants share the basket. More than 7.2M INJ has been burned so far.
Price check
At 08:14 UTC on 26 Oct, $INJ trades near $7.57, down about 12% in 7 days and about 86% below its $52.62 peak from March 2024.
Our take
The Robinhood teaser brings attention. The Korean won settlement and the burns bring usage. If the reveal confirms real access for $INJ, the attention meets fundamentals. If it does not, the KRW1 work is still the story to watch.
Teasers move timelines. Usage moves charts.
