What happens
On Tuesday October 6, 2026, at 08:14 UTC, Meteora announced DLMM Pro and opened a waitlist. No launch date has been given yet.
The idea: token teams on Solana get a launch market they can configure. They shape the initial liquidity, decide how the market opens, and set fees that ease as the market matures. Solana's official account shared the news about an hour later.
On October 7 Meteora added that DLMM Pro brings together the strongest ideas from DLMM, DAMM v2 and DBC, its dynamic bonding curve.
The numbers
CoinGecko at 05:46 UTC on October 8: MET trades near $0.452, up about 43% in 24 hours and about 126% over 30 days, with a 24h high near $0.480. Bitcoin is down about 1.7% over the same 24 hours.
DefiLlama: Meteora holds about $314 million in TVL, with about $6.87 billion in DEX volume and about $34.1 million in fees over the last 30 days.
Supply: about 557.8 million MET circulate out of 997.7 million total, so roughly 44% is not circulating yet.
What I'm watching
The waitlist turning into a real launch date. Until then, DLMM Pro is an announcement, not a live product.
Whether new Solana token launches actually choose DLMM Pro, and whether that shows up in Meteora's volume and fees on DefiLlama.
The supply side: 44% of MET not yet circulating stays on the radar after a 43% day.
A move this sharp on a red Bitcoin day can retrace just as fast.
