Why I did this
Leverage felt like skill. Then the book gapped and the fill was nowhere near the stop in my head. Crypto does that. Thin books, a cascade, and a 2% idea is gone. I have been on the wrong side of size more than once since 2017. The chart was often fine. The size was not.
What it costs
A liquidation is not a bad trade. It is the account leaving the game. You cannot review a position that no longer exists, and you cannot study your way back into that week.
The rule
Risk a slice you can lose three times and still trade tomorrow. If the stop cannot survive a normal wick, the size is the mistake. Spot first when the book is thin.
